Matthew is a Registered Architect in Texas, LEED Accredited Professional, member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and the American Institute of Architects, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Texas. Notable projects include Cougar Woods Dining Hall – a standalone dining facility for the University of Houston Central Campus (LEED Silver Certification) and the Alexan Post Oak – a 750,000 square foot podium apartment community in Houston.
Experienced in a variety of Commercial, Governmental, Institutional and Residential disciplines. Practical experience across a broad spectrum of project execution functions that include building code research and analysis, construction documentation, project team coordination, project management and construction administration. AutoCAD® and Revit® proficient.
Previous speaking engagements include the 2011 TAMU/RICS Joint Initiative Symposium, where he spoke about Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and the 2010 CCIM Forum in Houston, where his presentation highlighted the inherent benefits associated with "green" or high-performance buildings. Personal interests include family activities, travel, digital photography, web design and softball.
